Project Objective

The objective was to build a clear and functional network model consisting of several interconnected devices, and then to verify communication between the devices.

  1. Creation of a network topology.
  2. Addition of equipment: router, switch, client PCs, and DHCP server.
  3. Connection of equipment using appropriate cables.
  4. Defining an IP addressing plan.
  5. Configuring network interfaces.
  6. Configuring the DHCP server.
  7. Automatically assigning IP addresses to client workstations.
  8. Configuring the default gateway.
  9. Testing connectivity using the ping command.
  10. Verifying communication between machines.
